Set in the future,
the narrator brings his favorite doll to a company that creates
robotic mates. The whole tone of the fiction gave me the creeps.
The writer was so enthralled with the notion of 'making' a perfect
lover and this was shortly after the whole Dahmer business. My
revenge was the final panel showing the happy customer walking out
arm in arm with his newly minted boyfriend, the ass of the robot
deeply embossed with a 'Made in China' logo.
